A contracted assets surveyor was conducting a study on a tract of land when he stumbled upon what seemed to be human continues to be, according to a Texas sheriff’s business office.

Bosque County deputies and investigators ended up identified as to the spot on Wednesday, July 13, according to a news launch.

When they arrived, they “were led deep into the residence to a greatly wooded and overgrown place,” authorities claimed. There, they verified the worker’s discovery was in fact human stays.

The region is now deemed an lively criminal offense scene, so the Bosque County Sheriff’s Office is withholding the specific location to guarantee it stays untouched.

The remains and other proof were being collected for forensic investigation, officials claimed. Authorities did not describe what form of evidence was observed.

The person’s identity and bring about of dying are unidentified, but the investigation is ongoing.
